Experienced Community Advocate

Eric began his career in public service at the age of 18 as a high school co-op student.   He joined the office of Oshawa MP Colin Carrie in 2011 and has been serving in progressive leadership roles since that time.  Eric has extensive experience in providing constituents services similar to those provided by a City Councillor.

Eric studied Commerce at UOIT and has owned and operated several small businesses in Oshawa.  He presently owns a property maintenance company with his partner Trent.  As an active member of the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce he regularly interacts with small businesses and intimately understands the challenges that owners face.  Attracting business investment to Oshawa will remain a priority for Eric.

Dedicated Community Builder

Giving back to his community is important to Eric.  He is a proud member of the 100 Men of Oshawa , an organzation that strives to donate $ 40, 000 annually to charities in Oshawa.  Eric served two terms as President of a local association, several terms on the Safe City Oshawa Partnership and is currently a member of the Salvation Army Family Services Community Council.
